We are preparing for further expansion and are currently looking for suitably qualified candidates to join us for the position of:

JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT
(Penang – BUKIT MERTAJAM)

Responsibilities:

* Prepare and ensure timely submission of financial and management reports based on Financial Reporting Standards.
* Ensure timely, accurate and cost effective transaction in processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and banking services.
* Assisting in preparation of budgeting, tax planning and management report analysis.
* Assisting in implementation of financial and accounting policies as well as improving procedures and internal control to ensure compliance with Accounting Standards, Acts and company policies.
* Assisting in managing cash flow to ensure financial obligation are met.
* Liaise with auditors, local authorities, statutory bodies and bankers.
* Able to meet ad-hoc assignments

Requirements:

* Candidate must possess at least Degree in Accountancy, Professional Degree and finalist in Professional Qualifications are also acceptable.
* Required skill(s): financial reporting, costing plan, accounting.
* At least 3 ~ 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
* Experience in Audit Firm will be an added advantage
* Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Finance – General/Cost Accounting or equivalent. Job role in Financial Accounting & Reporting or Management/Cost Accounting/Business Analyst.
* Matured, independent, highly organized, flexible, result orientated, proactive approach to the working environment and possess basic management skills.
* Experience and understanding of accounting principles, forecasting, costing and tax.
* Computer literate and advanced skills in MS Office applications.
* Knowledge in UBS accounting system will be an added advantage.

Internal Auditor

Responsibilities:

* To plan, organise and carry out the internal audit function including the preparation of an audit plan which fulfils the responsibility of the department, scheduling and assigning work and estimating resource needs.

* To coordinate coverage with the external auditors and ensure that each party is not only aware of the other’s work but also well briefed on areas of concern.

* To review and report on the accuracy, timeliness and relevance of the financial and other information that is provided for management.

* To report on the value for money that the charity obtains in all its activities with special regard to economy, efficiency and effectiveness

Requirements:

* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy from reputable university with GPA 2.8
* At least 1 year(s) of working experience in Public Accountant or as Internal Audit
* Willing to travel
